Intelligence Group published two interesting papers, namely ‘Get ready for the international recruitment rally’ and ‘The International Recruitment Manual’.

Get ready for the international recruitment rally
This paper discusses global labor market trends and provides recommendations for those with global recruitment strategies. It uses data from the Global Talent Mobility Research, drawn from 66,019 respondents from over 40 countries. A questionnaire addressed topics such as: behavior on international labor markets, international pull factors and willingness to work abroad.

The International Recruitment Manual
The International Recruitment Manual, a study on how to recruit efficiently and effectively in the European Labor Market, shows why employers active in the international labor market are looking for workers abroad and the barriers they face in doing so. The study aims to give companies and their recruiters practical information to assist them in determining their strategy for the international labor market.

The Manual is based on research that involved 2.171 companies from eight different countries (Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Italy Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands and United Kingdom). Their reasons for and experience with international recruitment were analyzed. In addition, 20.998 workers from nine different countries (Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands and United Kingdom) were questioned about their preferences, motives and job seeking behavior in the labor market and their willingness and motivations to work abroad.

In the Manual two approaches to international recruitment are introduced. The practical implementation of these strategies depends on your reasons for international recruitment and the scope of your recruitment needs. The two approaches are people to work and work to people.
