Global Talent Mobility Research
In 2006 Intelligence Group completed a survey concerning mobility on the international labor market of people living in eight European countries, namely Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and the United Kingdom. The results are published in The International Recruitment Manual (2006).
In July and August of 2009 a follow-up was executed by Intelligence Group and The Network, in over 40 countries, resulting in 66.000 respondents living in over 67 countries. The goal of this follow-up is to provide employers with solutions to their recruitment problems.
Which data is included in the Global Talent Mobility Research?
The Global Talent Mobility Research contains of four types of information.

General information about respondents, like age, country of living and educational and work related background.

Work to people: Mobility on local labor markets. The Global Talent Mobility Research consists of information concerning pull factors and search behavior of (potential) candidates on local labor markets in 67 countries all over the world.

International labor market mobility. The research gives answer to questions concerning the willingness of people to consider working abroad and pull factors, the underlying reasons when they experience positive attitudes.

People to work: International labor market mobility. To respondents with positive attitudes towards international mobility on the labor market, the Global Talent Mobility Research provides information concerning pull factors, countries and cities of preference and search behavior on the global labor market. It also includes aspects candidates find important to know when they are considering a job abroad.
